I am changing the battery in a 2003 honda pilot and the horn keeps honking when the cables are connected. how can i stop the honking?

There are 2 ways. One is press the buttons on the remote. ry lock and unlock.

If that doesnt work or you dont have the remote hook the cables up. Make sure all the doors are closed. Go to teh drivers door and put the key in the lock. Now lock it and unlock it and it should do the trick.
