I have a 2000 Honda that needs a new transmission. Honda is only wanting to knock $1000 off the price of a new one. But I'm hearing that the 2000 odyssey have had transmission problems. What is your advice should Honda pay for this?

Reply to Kyle Northrop's Post: My van has 118,000 miles. I bought it used in 2002 from the Honda dealership. I have always had a feeling something was'nt right, it seemed to shift with a jolt. My husband never noticed it, but I drove it more than him.
