I drained the battery of my Odessy. It has been jumped and engine is fine. The radio continues to have an error message like its waiting for a code. I tried several but now it just says ERROR

Thanks for the encouragement. I did as you explained. The error message disappeared but the origianl message CODE came up when I pressed the 1 and 6 and turned the radio on. No series of numbers/letters appeared. It just remained CODE.

If you don't think you can do it then I'd suggest taking it to a shop and they'll pull it for you. There is no other way to get around this. Sorry but it's how Honda designed it.

I am sorry there is nothing more you can help me with since I do not think it wise for ME to remove my radio and give you the serial numbers. I shouldn't have to pay since you did not fix my problem. Thank you anyway.
