I have a 2003 odyssey with poor gas mileage. It gets about 12mpg. The dealership wants me to pay them to drive my van and than inform me it is getting poor gas mileage. I already know this. what can I do? The air filter is new, the exhaust has been inspected, I can not afford to drive the vehicle at this rate! I was under the impression this van was good on gas.

Optional Information:
2003 Honda

Already Tried:
cheching airfilter, gas mileage test

81000, I have it serviced at the local honda dealership every 3000m.They check the air pressure.
I am no mech. but this no air flow or tire pressure problem, at times when you start the van,it will shutter briefly, and have a extreme smell of burning fuel.
