I have a honda del sol that for about 9 weeks has been leaking oil and also the motor tends to gain and lose power while on highway. But it has a rattling sound companioned by the speed. What could this be.
Its very possible that a rod bearing has spun causing this sound, since its low of oil and probrably dosent have oil pressure need ot have that checked first
Reply to HondaPlatinum's Post: Has plenty of oil because I am constantly checking it. But the rod bearing is the bearing for the crank shaft right. And at times the car seems to act like it will die and not with this comes a whining from what seems to be a bearing of some sort.

The rod bearing spinning would cause a noise like marbles shook around in a can.
