my Honda element makes a vibrating sound when I do sharp turns when I park and when i make u turns. I just had my alignment fixed and new tires put on and it still makes the sound. Not on regular turning, just the tight turn. what could be going on?

Since it only makes the noise to the right I would suspect a bad wheel bearing. Honda has a bulletin out that says to check the wheel bearings for a noise. There are apparently transmissions being replaced because of being misdiagnosed. Since this is a bulletin Honda has seen a number of these and the wheel bearings are a known problem for noise. Since the noise is there when turning to the right it will more than likely be the left bearing if it is a bearing noise.

Hi.. and thankyou for your quick response.;)
I am noticing that it makes the sound when I turn to the left and right tightly. Would you recommend that I take it in and ask them if there is a recall on the wheel bearing? I had my first st of tires wear out within 20,000 miles and Honda did nothing about it.. they said it was my alignment. then I had my second wheels replaced in October, and the front wheel s wore out in 15,000 miles. I don't understand, it's very frustrating. So if there is a recall I would really like to have it fixed through Honda. Thanx, and please if you know of any recalls right at the moment for the Honda Element EX 04.. I would love to know.
