I have a 99 CRV. The lights on warning no longer

1999 CRV. The alarm no longer sounds when the headlamps are left on; the key is left in the ignition or the seatbelt is not latched. What is the problem?

Most likely it has something to do with the ignition switch. The switch in your vehicle was subject to a recall. If it hasn't been done yet I'd recommend that you contact your local Honda dealer and see if it has been done. They should be able to do a VIN status check on it when you call. Let me know if you need more help.
