My 2001 CRV A/C quit working. Took it to trusted mechanic who specializes in Japanese cars. Said that a Fuse in the engine compartment blew. Replaced for $80. Said they could not determine what caused it to blow. Could not find source of possible short. Blew again 2 days later. Any suggestions before I take it back? Help! It's getting hot out there!! Thanks.   Carol.

Yes the compressor is either bad or the system is over charged, also could be the codensor fan motor seizing if thats the fuse that blew then you need to replace the condensor fan motor
