2002 CRV real time 4wd, gas consumption very high. Car seems to run well. Just uses a lot of gas.

 

Optional Information:

Already Tried:
Replaced oxygen sensors, air filter, checked tires for proper pressure.

My best suggestion is to take it to the dealer and have them run the CRV on a dynometer and check the air/fuel ration while driving. If this is done you can see if there is a problem or not.

Hi again,

Not so much. I've had a couple MAP sensors cause problem, a couple of bad A/F sensors but not something that's a pattern. I see quite a few complaints about the fuel mpg. on newer Hondas. The federal governments MPG. ratings aren't relative to real world conditions. They are suppose to make a change soon to make the rating more accurate.
